I completed a feedback form during the Chiltern Railways exhibition in Bicester many months ago. Does that count as “support”?

The article states, at the end…

“A pre-inquiry meeting will take place on September 7, and anyone who wants to make representation at the inquiry can attend. ”

My understanding is that in order to make a representation, you had to support or object to the proposal during the consultation period.

My understanding is that it is open to anyone as an observer, but to make a representation, you have to have responded to the consultation.

Indeed, those that have, have already been written to about whether they wish to make further represntation at the hearing.

I have just read the minutes of the meeting and wondered when the car parking situation will be sorted out and where the access to the car park will be? I travel from Milton Keynes in the morning so to access the new car parking from Bicester Village adds significant time to my journey.

I would like to know if the fare will remain £2 return to Oxford. I commute every day, I decided to take the lower payed job because my yearly commute would be affordable. If the fare goes up drasticall, I will have to look for a new job.

They have already said they would run the trains if offered the subsidy, but will make a point of reminding them!

I am advisded that OCC have made the same subsidy offer to Chiltern that FGW are currently utilising in the running of extra trains.
Maybe some subtle prods in Chiltern’s direction will persuade them to accept the offer?

FGW replacement buses. In my experience, these leave Bicester Town from half way down Station Road, at the entrance to the trading estate.

The details of the engineering works and replacement buses are not clear either by looking at the FGW site or the posters at stations (which currently obscure the timetable!).

Times for relief buses on Saturdays are shown but FGW have failed to make clear that buses on Sundays will be timed as trains would have been. The engineering works extend over next two weekends (Sat & Sun) and then remaining Sundays through March.

We have asked for the posters to be replaced with clearer ones.
